Have you ever wanted to create a slideshow using PowerPoint or Keynote but felt overwhelmed by the terminology and features? If so, this course is for you. It is designed to help you enhance your skills and learn how to utilize the software and capabilities available on your cell phone, iPad / tablet, or laptop computer.

By the end of the course, each of us will develop a short (~6 slides) show that’s ready to present to an audience using a computer and projector or Smart TV. You’ll be astounded by what you can achieve after taking this class! It’ll be an enjoyable and interactive experience.

Instructor: Fred Bowers
Fred Bowers started creating presentations using carousel slide projectors in graduate school in the 1970s. Later, PCs became available, and PowerPoint (and Keynote) became the preferred method to present lectures and stories to groups. Fred enjoys the challenge of using many of the software features available on PCs and Macs, especially when it makes a presentation easy to create and engaging for the audience. These include audio and video movies and even music (GarageBand) and voice recordings.
