Coastal Mountains Land Trust's current Board President Jeff Davis will share details on the work they do across 16 towns, from Rockport to Prospect, and how conservation can be beneficial to communities in different ways.

He’ll touch on land protection, stewardship, sustainability, and their Learning Landscapes Program.

Lastly, he'll tackle overarching questions like: “What is a land trust?” and “how do conservation easements work?”

The first session of this four-week course is the presentation described above - taking place at United Methodist Church in Belfast.

The remaining 3 sessions will be guided hikes on local trails (to be announced). More detailed information will be provided to participants, as well as directions for meeting up at each hike location.
